Hello everyone and welcome to my newly revamped but very much simplified website! Recently I’ve started to have a bit of an obsession with making notes in Obsidian and therefore have gotten really used to using Markdown while doing so.
Prior to this version of the site I had gone with the free (and pretty wonderful) blog software Ghost but when I saw this gorgeous example of a simple looking site (by nexxel) using Astro I fell in love with it immediately.
The blog on this site not only uses Markdown for the posts but it’s also neatly integrated into the front page of the site. The original version of this site was clearly made for more of a developer’s website rather than a designer that might dabble here and there but I’m going to add to it and learn some more Astro/Vue while I’m at it.
I’ll add an RSS feed very soon so you fiends can make sure to get your fix even if you aren’t paying too much attention and when it comes to Patreon-style membership options, you can always hit up my Ko-Fi.
In the meantime, I’m back at it again having dope conversations with creative people over at the DAM PODCAST and all of the previous episodes that can be edited and uploaded have been. You can find them on several different platforms, most notably Spotify and Apple Podcasts but you can also in the very near future catch one of these episodes live on my Twitch channel!
